For a second summer, both the American Council of the Blind and the National Federation of the Blind will be holding their summer conventions virtually. Whether you’ve never attended such a gathering of blind community, or you’re a veteran convention goer, we’ll share all the ways you can explore virtual exhibit halls, connect with other attendees, and stream the main events. The hour-long daily gatherings will be taking place the week after the 4th of July holiday weekend and will be led by blind and low vision staff and counselors-in-training attending the EHC’s Summer Leadership Summit. Both campers that have joined us in the past and newcomers to EHC community will have a blast connecting with blind and low vision peers and mentors by taking part in a series of interactive challenges and activities that will have youth learning all about the awesome things we do at camp and all the cool people that make up the Enchanted Hills Camp family. Programs will be taking place virtually starting Tuesday, July 5th through Saturday, July 10th between 4:00 and 5:00 pm.
