3:00 pm: Foundation Fighting Blindness Young Professionals Meeting3:00 pm: Foundation Fighting Blindness Young Professionals Meeting – Are you a young professional in the Bay Area impacted (or know someone who is) by low vision? We are a group of individuals affected by retinal degeneration diseases and we would love for you to come meet up to chat, share stories, network and discuss other events. We look forward to meeting you! Our next meeting is scheduled for Saturday, May 18 from 3 - 5 p.m. We will be meeting at the LightHouse for the Blind and Visually Impaired at 1155 Market St 10th Floor, San Francisco, CA 94103 in the Conference Room (room 1040) on the 10th floor. Feel free to RSVP directly on our Facebook event page. Our goal is to meet every other month. We are open to any "young professionals." Of course, that is fairly subjective, and as of now we just hope that those who want to attend are either "young" (Denny's qualifies those "55+" as "senior" so "young" means "those who cannot receive a Senior discount at Denny's") or a "professional" (anyone with a job and who is affected by an inherited retinal disease).
