    Now in its sixth year, the Holman Prize for Blind Ambition awards up to $25,000 each to three blind people with ideas that will challenge misconceptions about blindness worldwide. If you will be at least 18 years of age by October 1, 2022 and are blind or legally blind, you can apply. Applications open on Friday, January 21 at noon Pacific Standard Time or GMT/UTC -8.

    Looking for something new to do on Friday night’s? We’re excited to announce a new Spanish audio described movie club for teens and young adults. Whether you’re a fluent speaker or just want to brush up on some Spanish skills and connect with friends over an action-packed movie, we hope you’ll join us on January 22nd for this new program premier!

    For our first gathering we will be watching Black Widow, a Marvel thriller about Avenger Natasha Romanoff and her past as a spy.

But have you ever wondered about the various opportunities for blind athletes in this part of the world? Join us this January for what is sure to be a fascinating conversation about popular sports for the blind, and how disabled athletes from countries such as Colombia are working to make them more accessible while building a name for themselves in the world of sports.
