1:00 pm: Your Personal Safety: Getting Back to Normal, Part Two1:00 pm: Your Personal Safety: Getting Back to Normal, Part Two – In response to an increase in anti-Asian violence and apprehensions among LightHouse students about venturing out, LightHouse’s Belonging, Inclusion, Diversity, and Equity (BIDE) task force presents the second in a series of personal safety workshops in collaboration with George Freeman of KATMA Defense. George Freeman is an Advance Instructor with SEED which is a program of STRIVE 4You. This workshop is the second in a three-part series and for all LightHouse community members. It will take a deeper dive into boundary setting and de-escalation techniques, plus additional tips, strategies, and approaches for feeling more confident about being out in the community. Portions of the presentation will be interactive so be prepared for an informative and engaging event. Saturday, August 28 from 1:00 pm to 2:30 pm RSVP for Your Personal Safety: Part Two.
