Help us raise $25,000 for the surfacing, trail extension and installation of Chimehange for our campers who have low vision and are blind. 1:00 pm: Master Class: Baywide Disability, Understanding Social Security Disability (online)1:00 pm: Master Class: Baywide Disability, Understanding Social Security Disability (online) – Dazell Mallory, the Owner/Founder of Baywide Disability, has been practicing Social Security Disability Benefits advocacy and consulting since 2012. During his practice, he has had the opportunity to work with a diverse clientele nationwide in a variety of areas relating to SSI/SSDI. His practice incorporates all aspects of SSI/SSDI claims from pre to post-entitlement claims nationwide. Dazell’s experience with the Social Security system is deeply personal, having grown up low vision himself. This Zoom workshop will be a general overview of the Social Security Disability process. You will learn what It takes to qualify, what medical and work documentation you will need, as well as the different stages of appeals and what they are looking for and how to best prepare. We will also cover the various programs in the Social Security Disability benefits process that you may qualify for and related requirements. Finally, we will discuss post-disability claims and various work incentive programs available. This workshop is being brought to you free of charge thanks to generous support from the San Francisco Department on Disability and Aging (DAS).
