    We did it! We are an official Toastmasters Chapter and are supported by experienced Toastmasters mentors! This is a safe and fun place to develop skills of self-empowerment. Toastmasters International is a nonprofit educational organization that teaches public speaking and leadership skills through a worldwide network of clubs.

    The LightHouse Access Technology team is honored and delighted to welcome Ian Ramos of Access Ingenuity to the Tech Together community!     Convention season is upon us once more! Both the American Council of the Blind and the National Federation of the Blind will be holding their summer conventions in person this year, with virtual participation options. Whether you’ve never attended such a gathering of blind community, or you’re a veteran convention goer, we’ll share all the ways you can participate, connect and explore during these memorable celebrations of blind empowerment!

    Bring your giggles and wiggles to Little Learners weekly Zoom Playgroup, Thursdays from 9:30am - 10:15am. Enjoy fun activities with your little one, ages 0-6, while learning strategies to support your child's visual, sensory, motor and concept development. Connect with other families who understand and share your experience raising a child who is blind, has low vision, or Cortical Visual Impairment (CVI). Weekly activities are designed to be accessible for all, and to build upon monthly themes that you can integrate into your family routines. All are welcome!

    Join the LightHouse’s monthly access Technology Spanish meeting. Tecnología para todos is a space where users share their knowledge and experience. Each month, we talk about services, applications and devices available for blind and low vision users.
    This event will be conducted using the Zoom platform. You can connect to Zoom using a computer, an app, or by dialing in from any phone.

    Warmer temps, longer days, and more reasons for happy hour—and now on Friday’s! This month 30% & Growing is going to Eureka! (2068 Center St, Berkeley, CA 94704). Eureka! is only a 2-minute walk from Downtown Berkeley Bart station. Come out and enjoy food, drinks and comradery with others who are blind and low vision in different stages of their career.
