The Legend of the Mayacamas Monsters
Some legends are born. Others are unleashed.
Deep in the Mountains of Napa Valley, high atop Mount Veeder, an ancient legend has been whispered around campfires for 75 years.
It began at Enchanted Hills Camp, where strange rumblings were heard beneath the legendary Mayacamas Dining Hall. Campers spoke of mysterious footsteps, thunderous crashes, and creatures that could navigate the darkness with extraordinary precision.
Some said they were born of the mountain. Others swore they were fueled by second helpings of Linda’s cookies in the dining hall.
For decades, the creatures remained hidden, growing stronger, faster, and fiercer with every passing summer. Now, 76 years after Enchanted Hills Camp first opened its gates, the monsters have finally emerged. And they’re not hungry for dinner. They’re hungry for GOALS.
Meet the Mayacamas Monsters, a fearless team of goalball athletes and Enchanted Hills Camp alumni, making their debut on the tournament court!
The legend is real. The monsters are ready. And they’re coming for the competition (and maybe the cookies!)
