Join the Bay Area chapter of Achilles at the Hot Chocolate Run in Golden Gate Park at no cost! The bibs were generously donated for use by the blind and low vision community. Take part in the 5k, 10k, or 15k with fellow blind and low vision peeps – whether you prefer to run, jog, walk, or roll! Get an exclusive Hot Chocolate Fudge, Mug, and Jacket, among other perks. Achilles Overview: Achilles International is a global organization operating in 18 countries, including several US chapters. Its goal is to empower people with disabilities through athletic programs and social connection.
Welcoming Athletes and Guides: Achilles welcomes people of all ages living with a disability to join us for a run, jog, walk or roll. Membership is free!
SF Bay Area Chapter: Holds inclusive workouts where everyone is welcome to be paired with a volunteer guide, or chart their own course. Also supports athletes in endurance races, from local 5K races all the way up to the SF Marathon.

Typically they are held at 9:30 am on the first and third Saturday of each month at Judah & Great Highway in San Francisco or Lake Merritt in Oakland. Please email to confirm.
