Our Retail team has been working tirelessly behind-the-scenes to ensure a seamless, accessible shopping experience of the finest BVI tested and approved products. From searching the website to shipment, we’re excited to bring you an elevated customer service experience.

Adaptations is a store created for blind and visually impaired people by blind and visually impaired people. Every purchase creates jobs, supports independence, and directly benefits the BVI community. All orders—whether for home or business delivery or in‑person pickup—are fulfilled by our BVI Retail team at the Sirkin Center in Alameda, supporting both accessibility and local employment. In addition, the collective lived experiences of each of our BVI Adaptations staff members ensures an understanding of the products and customer needs, making the shopping experience personal and valuable to our patrons.
