Speak Imagery: Faces In The Crowd (online)

Apr 11

The Fine Arts Museums of San Francisco (FAMSF) present Tour Theme: Faces In The Crowd.

This virtual tour is led by docents Margaret Grohne & Lani Shepp.

Museums are filled with portraits of people whose names we know—monarchs, presidents, aristocrats, and members of high society. But other works depict people whose names and stories we will never know. On this tour we will look at works that feature people in everyday situations. We’ll ask what the paintings tell us about their lives and times, and what they share in common with us.
