The sun is shining and the weather is sweet — it’s time for some farmer’s market treats. Have you been wanting to get out to the farmer’s market, but intimidated to navigate the crowd on your own?
On Wednesday, June 14, join us for Farmer’s Market Day at the LightHouse! Sweet cherries, plums, apricots and juicy peaches are in season and here for the picking. From 10:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. a group of volunteers will gather at LightHouse Headquarters to accompany individuals or small groups to the Civic Center Farmer’s Market. They’ll assist as much or as little as requested with crowd navigation, produce selection, cash transactions and all around good company.
