All students, customers, visitors and staff are required to wear a mask at all of our sites.
After gaining skills in mobility, technology and daily life, the final metric of success for a working-age individual who is blind or has low vision may be ensuring a solid paycheck at the end of the month. Our Employment Immersion workshop’s robust and proven curriculum (we place 43% of our graduates) emphasizes confidence building to prepare you for employment — and features a tried and true lineup of classes that walk students through every step of the job application process.
With a combination of short lectures, interactive activities, expert speakers and candid, honest discussions, each blind or low vision student has an opportunity to explore their interests, aptitudes, and think outside the box about which part of the job market holds the highest promise for their talents and ambitions.
