Community Teach: Body Butter Basics

Join us from 1 to 3 p.m. to learn techniques for creating your own unique body butter — an extremely moisturizing body cream that tends to be lighter and fluffier than cream or ointment. You don’t need any particular skill except the willingness to measure, smell and mix.

In this workshop, Lisamaria will go over some essential oil and scent basics, oil profiles and some simple non-visual techniques for measuring oils. At the end of the workshop, you will have gained some basic knowledge about scents (top, middle and base notes), essential oils and their benefits and you will go home with your very own homemade body butter.
