College Spaces from Different Places: Welcome & Welcome Back! (online)
Are you a blind or visually impaired college student looking to make new friends, and reunite with old ones? Would you like to increase your leadership, advocacy, and networking skills over fun and informative activities and outings with peers? Are you looking to get out in the community and explore new places?
Well then, look no further. College Spaces from Different Places is coming back for its third year! College Spaces from Different Places is a hybrid program for all college students who are blind or visually impaired from across the state.
For our first meeting, we will be focusing on getting to know each other and cultivating community with new and old friends over a series of icebreakers, games, and maybe a few debate competitions. We will finish off the evening by discussing ideas about the future of College Spaces, from leadership to outings, speakers and beyond. Bring your friends and some friendly competition, and we’ll see you there!
If you are interested in joining us or have any questions, please contact Daisy Soto at DSoto@lighthouse-sf.org or 415-694-7328.

Note: The Zoom link to join will be distributed the morning of the meetup. All blind/low vision college students are welcome, and you DO NOT need any authorizations from the DOR to join.
