September is upon us, yes, but that doesn’t mean we have to let go of summer—this is California, after all. Keep the dream alive and bring your working or job-seeking self to connect with your blind working friends and enjoy a seasonal menu of globally inspired street food and 20 taps pouring everything from traditional, blue-collar pints to barrel aged high gravity craft brews.
About 30% & Growing
It is often cited that 70% of working-age blind people do not work. Let’s turn that statistic right on its head and celebrate the 30% & Growing ranks of blind and visually impaired professionals. This is your night to join the LightHouse community of employed and aspiring workers-to-be! Connect with working blind peers and mentors, do some friendly networking or be a resource for others. Mark your calendars for the third Thursdays of each month and bring your thirst for networking (and beer).
To RSVP or for more information, contact Evening & Weekend Program Coordinator Serena Olsen at solsen@lighthouse-sf.org or 415-694-7316.
