Oct 2(1 event) 6:30 pm: LightHouse Public Board Meeting – Members of the public are invited to attend the Thursday, October 2, 2025, meeting of the Board of Directors of San Francisco’s LightHouse for the Blind and Visually Impaired. This virtual meeting will be held via Zoom and will run from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Pacific. Please Note: The meeting will start at 5:30 with the executive session until 6:30. At that time, we will resume the public agenda, which will include time for public comment. RSVP’s & Public CommentThirty (30) minutes will be reserved for public comment. Members of the public will have up to three (3) minutes to comment. If you would like to attend the virtual meeting, please complete the following form. Link: LightHouse Public Comment and RSVP Sign Up form. Whether you plan to have a public comment or not, you will need to fill out this form to get the Zoom info. Zoom information will be emailed closer to the date of the board meeting. Oct 4(1 event) 10:00 am: White Cane Day Celebration – Our 3rd annual march across the Golden Gate Bridge will take place on Saturday, October 4. This is a free event, open to all ages and all who are interested. Bring your canes, your guide dog, and your sighted allies as we all come together to celebrate the BVI community! Participants can come to the EBC or LH locations for LightHouse shuttles, or meet us at the North Vista Point.
