Jul 16(1 event) 3:30 pm: Adaptive Chair Yoga (hybrid) – The Talking Books and Braille Center at the San Francisco Public Library is offering a series of Adaptive Chair Yoga classes with Nancy Yates at the TBBC or on Zoom. Stay cozy at home or come to the library. The classes will be held on Wednesdays March 19, April 16, May 21, June 18 and July 16 from 3:30 pm to 4:15 pm. Nancy Yates will be leading this gentle yoga class designed for people with low vision or blindness of all age groups and experience levels. Jul 26(1 event) (All day): SFMTA - ADA 35th Anniversary Celebration (In Person) (All day) On July 26, join SFMTA in Golden Gate Park on Music Concourse Drive opposite the Bandshell. We'll be tabling alongside some of our amazing community partners and fellow city agencies. Stop by for fun activities and to learn more about accessible transportation options in San Francisco! The celebration continues online with our Faces of Muni Campaign. In the coming months, we will be highlighting community members with disabilities as they share their experiences navigating the world on public transit. We look forward to sharing these stories about why Muni matters. |

Aug 2(1 event) 1:30 pm: Non-visual Drawing Workshop – Saturday, August 2 at 1:30 PM Naomi Rosenberg, with Chancey Fleet and Marco Salsiccia, will cover several drawing techniques for blind and low vision artists, including spatial reasoning skills, and a walk-through of ways to teach tactile reading skills.
