All you need to create portrait art is your own face, and a little imagination. In this hands‑on art class, participants will create three‑dimensional self‑portraits using air‑dry clay and simple sculpting techniques. Guided by interdisciplinary artist, Maia Scott and industry professional Larz Mertens, students will explore facial structure, texture, and personal expression while shaping their own likeness in clay. This class centers on touch, observation, and creativity. Working from real facial features and finishing with imagination, each participant will create a unique sculptural portrait. No prior sculpting experience is required. All materials are provided.
