Members of our SF Pride 2017 contingent march together holdings sign that read "Blind and Proud."

SF Pride 2018

Every day at LightHouse we’re working to redefine the way people think about blindness, and this year for San Francisco Pride we’re widening our scope to the whole disability community. For us, Pride 2018 is about reclaiming the word ‘disabled’ and joining together as a community to make it clear that disabled, whatever that means to you, is an identity to be proud of.

We’d like to extend an invitation to all disabled LGBT+ community members, their families, friends and allies to march with us as we commemorate LGBT+ heritage, celebrate LGBT+ culture and raise awareness for the needs of LGBT+ people with disabilities at this year’s San Francisco Pride. Join us on June 24, 2018 to #beseen marching together!

Get your Pride tickets on Eventbrite and learn more about how you can get involved. Please RSVP on Facebook for updates and reminders, and invite friends or members or your community who you think would be interested in marching with us!

The first 100 people to sign up will receive a free Pride 2018 t-shirt like the one below. You can also buy these in our Adaptations Store for $20.
