Loom Knit a Scarf Now for Warm, Fuzzy Gifts Later Thursdays, August 9 & 16, 10 AM to Noon The winter holidays are approaching faster than you realize and who doesn’t need a warm scarf to wrap around to keep snuggly and warm from the wintery San Francisco fog? Learn to make a scarf using a loom and get ready to make this year’s gifts all by hand. This class will teach the e-wrap and purl stitches. You will also learn the differences between garter and stockinette techniques. This class is aimed toward the beginner loom knitter, but anyone can join. Knowledge of cast-on, bind off, and E-wrap is preferred but not necessary--just bring your desire to learn. Attendance at both classes is necessary.
