A panel of eight hand-colored drawings in a yellow template depict a series of city bus drivers and details of the front of a bus. In a variety of styles and colors, ranging from a dreamy purple coloring to a terse red rendition, the images depict, at once, a sense of urgency, agency and calm.

At the LightHouse For the Blind Gallery 4:30 – 6 pm

Join us on Thursday, January 10th for an Art Opening at the LightHouse 4:30 – 6 pm. The exhibition showcases the work of Kurt M. Schwartzmann.  Kurt is a LightHouse client who lost all vision in his left eye in 2006 due to complications of AIDS. His first series of 64 drawings, entitled ‘Yellow Line’, is a tribute to the hard working Operators of SF MUNI that put up with SO much drama and still manage to keep the city moving efficiently, rain or shine.
