Cooking Class: Ready, Set, Go! Eating for Fitness

Mar 1

If you have signed up for the USABA/Anthem Foundation National Fitness Challenge (NFC) or are even thinking about it, this class is for YOU! The right foods can help you reach your fitness goals, boost energy AND mood, increase stamina and strength and sharpen mental clarity. In conjunction with the NFC Kickoff Celebration that follows, this class is the perfect start to healthier eating to fuel your fitness.

Menu

  • Moroccan Quinoa and Black Bean Salad
  • Hummus and vegetable platter
  • Fruit and yogurt parfait

Join us and then attend The Kick-Off Celebration Event immediately following. (And don’t forget your Fitbit to track all that dancing around the kitchen!) The class will last for three hours. You will be standing, cooking and working during class so be sure to wear comfortable, closed-toe shoes and tie back your hair.
