All Inclusive Asian Art Museum Experience (in-person)

Jul 14

Join LightHouse to visit San Francisco Asian Art Museum's latest exhibit: Carlos Villa: Worlds in Collision. We invite to experience Villa's “spectacular, visually magical worlds of feathers and photographs, capes and masks, bones and tattoos” (asianart.org). Our group will have an audio described tour of the exhibit followed by some interdisciplinary art making and poetry exploration inspired by Villa's work. After that, stay around for some light refreshment and a cello performance by Theresa Wong, who will create soundscapes inspired by the exhibit. This magical multidisciplinary is Free thanks to the Community Access Fund.

Can join us during this time? Any LightHouse staff or student may mention their affiliation to the LightHouse to receive free admission at any time space is available. The Asian Art Museum is located at 200 Larkin, across from the main branch of the public library. Meet us there or walk over with other students and volunteers from our 1155 Market headquarters.

RSVP no later than July 12 to Maia Scott at MScott@lighthouse-sf.org or 415-694-7608.
