Enchanted Hills Camp 2023 Sessions

Registrations for Enchanted Hills Camp 2023 Summer Sessions are Open!

EHC Summer 2023 Camp Sessions and Dates

For Family Camp I, Adult Session, Adults with Developmental Disabilities Session, Youth Camp, Teen Camp, Music & STEM Camp an Family Camp II, you have the option of creating a RegPack account to apply online or downloading and printing out the application. Please navigate to the camp session or sessions you’re interested in to apply.

Changing Vision, Changing Life

For adults who are new to being blind or having low vision or new to blindness skills training. 

Dates: Sunday, June 4 to Friday, June 9

LightHouse Little Learners Family Camp

Little Learners Camp session is open to families who are participants in the Little Learners program, ages 2.5 – 6 years old. Young children and their families not currently participating in Little Learners are welcome to register for one of our Family Camp sessions, which are open to all ages.

Family Camp I 

Family Camp is designed for families with blind children ages 17 and under, and blind parents with children ages 17 and under. In addition to quintessential camp activities, this camp offers parent discussion groups and evening activities such as the family talent show.

Dates: Thursday, June 15 to Sunday, June 18

Staff Training

Dates: Monday, June 19 to Saturday, June 24

Adult Session 

Designed for active adults 21 years and older who are blind or visually impaired, Adult campers enjoy quintessential camp activities as well as nighttime programs such as dancing to live music, casino night and a talent show.

Dates: Monday, June 26 to Saturday, July 1

Adult with Developmental Disabilities Session

This session provides opportunities for adult campers with developmental disabilities to explore the outdoors, meet peers and mentors, try new things, and increase skills and confidence. A 2:1 camper to counselor ratio ensures that campers get individualized attention and their access needs are met.

Youth Camp

Youth campers (3rd – 8th grade) will participate in a variety of programs, including campfires, swimming, hiking, drama, arts and crafts, and adaptive sports. Campers are encouraged to explore new challenges independently with their new friends. Campers will gain a greater understanding and acceptance of their vision loss, leading to increased self -confidence.

Dates: Monday, July 10 to Saturday, July 15

Teen Camp

Teen campers make friends with blind peers and participate in quintessential summer camp activities including campfires, swimming, horseback riding, theater, arts and crafts and adaptive sports. Campers also hone their blindness skills like using a white cane and reading Braille.

Family Camp II

Music Camp and STEM Camp

The Music session is for campers ages 14 and older that are musicians who are blind or have low vision. Participants should already know how to play or sing and have at least intermediate musical skills (basic chords, scales, tuning, basic instrument maintenance and general musical knowledge) in their instrument(s).

The STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) Camp session is for students 14-20 years old who are blind or have low vision with an interest in these areas. Campers should have a basic understanding of high school level science concepts, be prepared to participate in a variety of activities across different science disciplines, and most importantly be enthusiastic about STEM! This session will be headed by Hoby Wedler. SPACE IS LIMITED!
