Tech Together Online: Virtual Blindness Conventions

    Jun 29

Join the LightHouse Access Technology team for a series of informal conversations on technology topics relevant to these current times.

For a second summer, both the American Council of the Blind and the National Federation of the Blind will be holding their summer conventions virtually. Whether you’ve never attended such a gathering of blind community, or you’re a veteran convention goer, we’ll share all the ways you can explore virtual exhibit halls, connect with other attendees, and stream the main events.

RSVP for Tech Together Online: Virtual Blindness Conventions or leave a voicemail at 415-694-7618. Online registration is preferred.

Tech Together is a chance to share your knowledge and experience, as well as learn from other blind technology users. LightHouse Access Technology staff share tips and resources on each week’s topic. Then there is time for LightHouse students and friends to add to the conversation, as we all learn from each other.

  • EHC Summer Concert Series!

    EHC Summer Concert Series!

    Jul 2

Get ready to groove because the Enchanted Hills Camp Summer Concert series is back! Each concert will host EHC staff and campers alike in all star concert review, streaming live to your home on the EHC Facebook page. These musicians will make you want to sing and tap your feet as we raise money for camp, and the new infrastructure lost in the 2017 fires. Please spread the word!

Follow Enchanted Hills Camp on Facebook to virtually participate in the fun.

The events for the upcoming week are read aloud on our event hotline every Friday, which can be accessed by calling 415-694-7325. For more information about visiting the Adaptations Store, head to our shop page.

The LightHouse is scent-free. Please abstain from wearing colognes, perfumes, or other scented products. Additionally, coffee must be securely lidded at all times and citrus should not be peeled on the premises. Thanks for supporting our efforts to respect chemical sensitivities!
