White Cane Awareness Day: 30%ers Teaching Cane Travel (online)

    Oct 15

We have a very special guest joining us for our White Cane Awareness Day 30% & Growing celebration. No one knows better the importance of good mobility skills as it relates to employment than a blind cane travel instructor. Domonique Lawless is just such a person–she teaches cane travel at the Virginia Rehabilitation Center for the Blind and Vision Impaired and has also launched her own podcast on the world of blind employment, so we couldn’t think of a better brain to invite for picking.

RSVP to Serena Olsen at SOlsen@lighthouse-sf.org or 415-694-7316.
