Shotgun Players Presents "Yerma" with Audio Description (in-person)

Jun 4

West Coast premiere! Set in Southern California in the 1930s, Yerma is Lorca’s lyrical exploration of infertility, feminism, and obsession. Yerma is a woman who deeply loves her husband Juan, but she longs above all to have a child. In this darkly poetic fable, Yerma’s all-consuming desire propels her into a collision with the universe that is urgent and terrible in scope. Join Shotgun Players and Gravity Access for a haptic tour and audio-described performance on Sunday, June 4. Use code 10AMO to save $10 off.

The haptic tour begins at 4:00 pm and the performance at 5:00 pm.Ashby Stage is in Berkeley at 1901 Ashby Ave., just across the street from the northwest corner of the Ashby BART parking lot.
