This 45-minute class will be taught seated. Tai Chi is a set of slow, gentle exercises and a form of moving meditation practiced for relaxation, health, exercise, and self-defense. In this program, you will learn the first 24 movements of the Sun style system. Sun Style is particularly well suited for people new to Tai Chi as it is easy to perform and it contains powerful Qigong influences that calm the mind and promote deep breathing. How about the difference between a latte and a macchiato? Maybe you just want to spend a cozy Saturday morning sampling some delicious coffees with friends. Join the Youth Team for our first in-person College Spaces Café on February 17, as we answer all of the above questions and more! You’ll have a chance to learn some new coffee preparation techniques, learn about different coffee-based drinks, blends, and pairings, and of course, drink plenty of coffee. (Note: We will have decaf coffee available as well!) We hope to see you all at the College Spaces Café! *Note: Immediately after the Café, LightHouse will be hosting its next Performance Salon celebrating Black History Month happening on the 10th floor.
