Not so Bored Game Night (online)
Just because we’re stuck inside doesn’t mean we have to be bored. While we all stay at home practicing safe physical distancing LightHouse Youth program invites youth that are blind or have low vision to join us for a weekly game night. Each Tuesday students will join a zoom meeting with other blind and low vision youth and mentors where youth can have another chance to connect with friends and play some silly games. All games will be family-friendly accessible games that youth can enjoy whether they are calling with a phone or using the video feature of the zoom app. Games will range from simple icebreakers to word and number games to our weekly themed trivia game.

Just because we are geographically separated does not mean the world has to halt. 1. Plug-in to an enjoyable and informative weekly social hour, beginning April 1, every Wednesday from 4:00-5:00 PM. Interesting discussions will be hosted around various topics ranging from sharing helpful assistive tech tools, to receiving creative tips on modifying your kitchen to be more accessible, to meeting guest speakers with experience attending (colleges/independent living centers). The possibilities are endless!
