Saturday, January 9th from 1:00 pmDo you like making things? Do you have a green thumb with plants? Would you like to have fun with friends creating art that is friendly to our environment? LightHouse might have the perfect virtual gathering for you. Join us for our Eco Arts and crafts club, where we will explore different arts and craft projects with other youth who are blind or have low vision friends from all overr. Our January art project will have those that RSVP making our very own Biodomes. Future projects will range from things we can make out of recycled materials you can find around your house or projects that you can put into nature knowing you will not have a negative impact on our world.
Who: elementary and middle school students that are blind or have low vision
What: monthly arts and crafts lesson over zoom
When: Saturday, January 9th from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm
Where: anywhere you can access a zoom meeting
RSVP: a list a program supplies and the zoom meeting information will be shared with those that RSVP by 5:00 pm of the day before the program

Jan 15Bingo is back virtually, so break out those accessible bingo cards and enter our virtual game room for all that bingo fun with Enchanted Hills Camp volunteer Annalisa. Come for the bingo excitement, stay for the prize at the end. If you don't have cards, you can order them online at www.adaptations.org or by phone at 888-400-8933. A limited supply of accessible bingo cards are also available for free loan by contacting Jaclyne Atoigue at jatoigue@lighthouse-sf.org or call 415.694.7618 where you can also direct your RSVP and request for Zoom access details.

Jan 27Pull up a comfy chair and join Community Outreach Coordinator, Sheri Albers, in the LightHouse virtual living room to talk about all things LightHouse! Have you been experiencing changes in your vision that have been affecting your daily life, but don’t know what to do? LightHouse of San Francisco is here to help. This is the perfect place to come and ask the questions that you need answers to.
For the January meeting, our guest will be Kate Williams, LightHouse Director of the LightHouse Employment Services. The Employment Immersion virtual workshop is now being offered nationally on Zoom. Come talk to Kate about what her team has been doing to assist people who are blind or have low vision join the workforce. We will also have a member of our Adaptations Store on hand to let us know about the latest and greatest in blindness and low vision products on the market.
