May 4Join the LightHouse’s monthly access Technology Spanish meeting. Tecnología para todos is a space where users share their knowledge and experience. Each month, we talk about services, applications and devices available for blind and low vision users. This event will be conducted using the Zoom platform. You can connect to Zoom using a computer, an app, or by dialing in from any phone.

May 4Members of the public are invited to attend the May 4 meeting of the Board of Directors of San Francisco’s LightHouse for the Blind and Visually Impaired. This meeting will be a hybrid meeting.
30 minutes will be reserved for public comment. All members of the public will have up to three minutes to comment. If you would like to reserve a slot to speak, please complete the LightHouse Public Comment Sign Up form. Please submit your comments as far in advance as possible. Comments must be received before noon Pacific on Wednesday, May 3 to be included in the agenda.
If you wish to attend this meeting in person, it will be held at LightHouse San Francisco headquarters at 1155 Market St. 10th Floor, San Francisco. Get directions to LightHouse San Francisco.
If you are attending virtually, please fill LightHouse Public Comment and RSVP Sign Up form. Whether you plan to have a public comment or not, you will need to fill out this form in order to get the Zoom info. Zoom information will be emailed to you closer to the date of the board meeting.

May 11Come join us as Computer Science and Design students from Latitude High School in Oakland showcase inventions they've created, each with a specific function to assist the blind and low vision community in daily living skills.
If you want to check out these student-designed prototypes, give your feedback, and help aid and guide these future designers and engineers, come to LightHouse San Francisco at 1155 Market Street on May 11. Your feedback is needed for them to make the necessary improvements that could forge the next most-wanted gadget in the Adaptations Store! Space is limited, so RSVP by May 10 to Sheri Albers at SAlbers@lighthouse-sf.org, or call 415-694-7331.

The LightHouse is scent-free. Please abstain from wearing colognes, perfumes, or other scented products. Additionally, coffee must be securely lidded at all times and citrus should not be peeled on the premises. Thanks for supporting our efforts to respect chemical sensitivities!
