2022 LightHouse Family Pumpkin Palooza

With Halloween just around the corner and an abundance of everything pumpkin everywhere, it’s time to gather and embrace the season with other LightHouse families. Whether the family member that is blind or low vision is a parent or a child, we would like to invite you and your family to our next Family Pumpkin Palooza. Our Halloween theme festival hosted by the LightHouse Community Services team and Living Skills instructors are scheduled for the afternoon of October 29 at our headquarters in San Francisco.

We will have pumpkins and lots of fun. The fun will begin with pumpkin carving for all with some helping hands from our Living Skills team for those that may need some help developing these carving skills. In addition to practicing your carving skills we will have you all showing off your artistic and culinary skills with our pumpkin cupcake decorating and tasting challenge. All followed by a costume contest including categories for most elaborate costume, most creative costume and possibly a best family themed costume.

  • What to Bring
Pumpkins: we welcome families to bring their own pumpkins to carve, however LightHouse is happy to help provide them if needed. We ask that if you wish to use one of the pumpkins that we secure that you include this request with your RSVP no later than Friday, October 21st.
