The moment you've all been waiting for is here... the 2021 EHC Applications go live on Monday, February 1st at 9:00am. We're planning for a hybrid summer, with a mix of both in-person and virtual camps for groups of all ages. Regardless of our plans, we will continue to monitor the latest reports regarding COVID-19 and will make a final verdict regarding in-person sessions on April 1st. For a full list of summer 2021 EHC programs and a link to both the downloadable and electronic applications, please visit https://lighthouse-sf.org/ehc2021/. EHC is the place to be!
Camp Director, Tony Fletcher will serve as your host and hopes you will be able join. The campfires are designed for all ages and will focus on camp updates, music, laughter and fun. Please RSVP if you are interested in attending and we are happy to provide the Zoom information. You will be able to use the same Zoom link for the campfires between January and May of 2021.
The structure for the February campfire will be:
Welcome and camp music
Updates on camp building efforts
Summer camp program updates
Special acknowledgments of campers and staff that have passed
Pull up a comfy chair and join me in the LightHouse virtual living room to talk about all things LightHouse! Have you been experiencing changes in your vision that have been effecting your daily life, but did not know who to talk to? LightHouse of San Francisco may have the solutions you have been looking for. This is a safe place to bring the questions that you have been wanting to ask. For the February event, Community Outreach Coordinator Sheri Albers will be highlighting the many programs that are specifically open to adults 55 and older. We will also have Raqi Gomez from our Adaptations Store on hand to let us know about the latest and greatest in blindness and low vision products on the market.
The LightHouse is scent-free. Please abstain from wearing colognes, perfumes, or other scented products. Additionally, coffee must be securely lidded at all times and citrus should not be peeled on the premises. Thanks for supporting our efforts to respect chemical sensitivities.
