Naturalist Michael Charnofsky will guide us through the variety of wildlife that inhabit all the different topographies of our local environment. We may be surprised by the wildlife that thrives in cities. We will also explore how that wildlife changes as urban areas merge into parkland.

Although the SF Bay is much different now than 200 years ago, it is still home to a fascinating array of wildlife big and small.

Mountain lions, ring-tailed cats, and badgers are just some of the animals we will learn about in an overview of rare and common animals of our beautiful San Francisco Bay hills.

Birdsongs and Other Sounds of San Francisco Bay Area Wildlife: Do you know this sound? Who made it? We’ll listen to many of the most common animal sounds that you can hear in both urban and wild land areas.
