LightHouse Joins Exploratorium for Youthful Adventures

exploratorium logoThe Lighthouse and the Exploratorium will be joining forces to provide activities and outings that will inspire low vision and blind youth to get excited about science and become lifelong learners. The outings will take LightHouse Youth in and around the San Francisco Bay Area for a series of fun, science-based activities. But students will not just have fun, they will help provide feedback to the Exploratorium, helping it provide an experience enjoyable and accessible for all that visit.

Our first event will be held at LightHouse San Francisco Headquarters. Lighthouse Youth will meet the Exploratorium staff and high school mentors and enjoy various team challenges and fun science phenomenons.
