The Travis Air Force Base in Fairfield, California has open positions specifically for blind and visually impaired job seekers.
Two of the primary positions are:
–Customer Service Clerk. The clerk will support Base Store Operations by performing general duties including customer service, stocking shelves, boxing items for delivery and light housekeeping.
–Sales Clerk. The clerk greets and assists customers in product selection, processes sales transactions, performs inventory and shipping/receiving tasks.
