Materials Resource Center
Looking for information on advocacy, education or community involvement for the blind and visually impaired? Perhaps you are curious about an eye condition, your employment rights, or where to get digital and audio books? The Materials Resource Center is the best place to find all of this and more!
The MRC is a compilation of literature developed by the VLRC, government agencies, consumer groups and social services. Many items are available for download here on our website, and many more resources are available at the LightHouse's San Francisco office in alternative formats (large print, Braille or audio CD). Documents can be ordered at no charge by contacting the VLRC at info@lighthouse-sf.org.
Please note that items available online are continually being updated. You may wish to contact the VLRC to ensure you have accessed the most recent version of a document.
