Work Adjustment Training Program
Offers blind and visually impaired transition for youth and young adults opportunities to learn and work at the LightHouse as support staff in clerical, administrative, and retail positions. A commitment of a minimum of six hours per week for 16 weeks is expected. Applicants must possess basic skills in math, reading, writing, and computer/adaptive technology, and sufficient Orientation and Mobility skills.

Subjects include Math, English, History, and Braille for youth ages 6 to 19. By appointment only.

Saturday Outing
Start out your new year with fun and social activities that are accessible! This program, coordinated in conjunction with our community partner, Project Insight, has an alternating schedule between preteens and teens. The program aims to provide recreational and social opportunities for blind and visually impaired youth ages 6 to 19. Activities include visits to different venues throughout the SF Bay Area. Transportation is available upon request. Please call early in the week if you will need transportation.
