The Beaded Quilt Art Mural sits on front of the LightHouse building facing Van Ness Avenue

If you’ve passed by our office in San Francisco recently, you may have noticed something peculiarly colorful. We’ve just finished hanging up the Beaded Quilt Art Mural in front of our building facing Van Ness avenue. Over a year in the making and consisting of over 150,000 beads, the mural represents the colorfulness and diversity of the Bay Area blindness community who assembled it. Many thanks to GK Callahan, local artist and LightHouse staff member for spearheading the project! For more photos of the Beaded Quilt visit our Facebook photo album.
