Safe Streets Kick-Off at LightHouse

Safe Streets Kick-Off at LightHouse

Mar 28

The kick-off in front of the LightHouse HQ building marks the beginning of our Safe Streets program being unveiled to the public. Safe Streets is part of the Vision Zero initiative, which aims to lower the number of pedestrian-related deaths within San Francisco to zero. A few staff members and ten mobility ambassadors, all of whom are blind/low vision cane users, will be crossing the crosswalk in front of the LightHouse building for about an hour to create visibility and awareness of blind/low vision pedestrians to the many sighted pedestrians, drivers, and cyclists that travel along busy Market Street. You are welcome to join us!
