Friend of LightHouse Jason Silver has been working hard on securing the LightHouse Youth Program free or discounted tickets and special access to local athletic events. These outings will have students attending local favorites to develop an appreciation and understanding of popular sports from knowledgeable volunteers that will help audio describe the game. In addition to learning about popular sports, students will have the chance to develop friendships and enjoy the game with other students and mentors that are blind or have low vision.
Our next outing will take us to Levi’s Stadium to watch the San Francisco 49ers take on the Denver Broncos on Sunday, December 9th.
