Jess Curtis and the team that brought us “The Way You Look (at me) Tonight” last fall return with Intercontinental Collaborations #7, an evening of performance that crosses genres, issues and continents and dances at the intersection of digital culture, gender, sensuality and physical diversity.
CounterPulse is a physically and economically accessible theater, performance space, community center, gallery and more. The organization provides space and resources for emerging artists and cultural innovators, serving as an incubator for the creation of socially relevant, community-based art and culture. They aim to help create a world that celebrates diversity of race, class, cultural heritage, artistic expression, ability, gender identity and sexual orientation.
Performances will run from November 2 through 5, and Jess wants feedback from the blind community on the performance before it runs. You are invited to this open rehearsal before opening night to enjoy a sneak peek at the performance and participate in a Q&A following the show.
To RSVP, contact Serena Olsen at solsen@lighthouse-sf.org or 415-694-7316.
