Where: The Cooler, 1517 E. 14th St., San Leandro
Five rotating tap handles feature an ever-changing selection of craft beers, ciders, and sours with a focus on locally made and seasonal beverages. The Cooler is a classy little taproom lurking in the heart of downtown San Leandro and 30% & Growing will be there on the third Thursday of November for networking and camaraderie. Be forewarned that The Cooler has no kitchen. The good news is that they not only invite folks to BYOF (Bring Your Own Food), they’ve done all the legwork for you by providing 16 neighborhood recommendations, most of which are on the same block and all but a few within three blocks. The options suit just about any palate, from burgers and pizza to Mexican, Asian, and Greek, grab your favorite on the way in or just head straight for The Cooler, order up your favorite beverage and dial up a dinner delivery. This is your night to join the LightHouse community of employed and aspiring workers-to-be! Connect with working blind peers and mentors, do some friendly networking or be a resource for others. Mark your calendars for the third Thursdays of each month and bring your thirst for networking (and beer).
