4:00 pm: Summer Music BBQ

Aug 11

On August 11 from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. come celebrate the talented Enchanted Hills Camp student musicians with an afternoon of music, food and fun! Enjoy songs written and performed by our campers on guitar, drums and piano. We'll be barbecuing and giving tours of the campgrounds at our final concert of the summer.

This year’s concert will be on the lawn as we rebuild portions of camp after damage due to the October 2017 fires in Napa, which included damage to our beloved Redwood Grove Theater. We’ll have a barbecue and other food on the lawn. The concert will begin at 4:30 p.m., and dinner will be served at 6 p.m.

The Summer Music BBQ also serves as a fundraiser to rebuild what was lost in the fire, with suggested donations of $20 for adults and $10 for children. Donations to support this camp and future Summer Music BBQs are appreciated. Help us out and invite your friends on Facebook!

10:00 am: Knitting

Aug 30

Every week, our knitters gather to share their purls of wisdom and get in the loop on each other’s latest project, and usually end up in stitches spinning yarns. Whether you knit for pleasure, distraction or just practical economics, or you’ve never done it before and want to give it a try, there’s always room for another loom. Learn, refine, or teach a skill that makes your gift-giving budget lighter weight or support a student-led altruistic project like knitting chemo caps, beanies for babies, lap blankets or other creative applications.

For more info, needle Adult Program Coordinator Serena Olsen at solsen@lighthouse-sf.org or 415-694-7316.
