(All day): Giving Tuesday(All day): Giving Tuesday (All day) Giving Tuesday is a global, online event celebrated on the Tuesday after Thanksgiving (November 27) that kicks off the charitable season, when many focus on their holiday and end-of-year giving: a movement that celebrates and supports giving and philanthropy. Created in 2012 by the team at the Belfer Center for Innovation & Social Impact at the 92nd Street Y—a cultural center in New York City that brings people together around the value giving back—Giving Tuesday connects diverse groups of individuals, communities and organizations around the world for one common purpose: to celebrate and encourage giving.
